There’s been a recent trend of bringing popular discontinued products back from the dead. Take for instance Bobbi Brings Back: Lip Color and MAC by Request. Both brands have tapped into social media and have implemented online voting programs where fans can vote for their favorite discontinued shades and products. The ones with the most popular votes are then reproduced for a short time. There are also big brands like Chanel, who brings back sought after shades for a limited time, and Urban Decay, who recently added polishes back into their permanent collection. Let’s also not forget about Jane Cosmetics and Prescriptives, both whom went under, and have recently made a major comeback due to their persistent fans.
The point of this post? What about all of those other amazing beauty products that were discontinued and ripped out of our lives forever? Remember how cool Maybelline’s Kissing Koolers were back in the day? What about Max Factor‘s Pan Stik Foundation? And the mere thought of Victoria’s Secret‘s SecretCrush Body Splash transports us back to the high school days. Wouldn’t life be so much better with them all? We sure think so. Check out the slideshow above for 13 gone, but not forgotten beauty products. On the plus side, you can still score some of these products on sites like eBay and Amazon. Just be weary of expiration dates and such.
