60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

We dry our hair every time we shower (which is fairly often, yeah…?), but most of us are still going about it all wrong! HOW? WHAT?? I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING! Hmm… you might not. We’ll break it down for you…

I know it’s super tempting to wring out all the excess water from your wet hair, but you need to stop. This method is a known tangle-inducer — and OMG tangles are the last thing you want to deal with right after a relaxing shower. Anyone who’s ever had long hair can relate to this HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE struggle (once my brush actually snapped in half… oops).

Instead of hand-wringing your mass o’ wet hair, grab a cotton T-shirt. Yep, you read that right — say NO to the towel and pat your hair dry with a T-shirt! Both the towel drying and hand-wringing lead to tangles and breakage and we are SO not down for either of those!

Oh, and one more thing… Don’t brush your hair until it’s dry. Wrap it in your T-shirt and let it dry (NATURALLY) before you de-tangle.

MIND. BLOWN.
