 Ladies,
"Getting ready" used to be fun. We'd allow hours
to try on different outfits, carefully apply makeup and thoroughly
style our hair. Now that we are older things are a little different.
Time is our most precious commodity. Although grooming rituals
can provide relaxation on occasion, for our day to day living
we just want to get it done and get going. We have found some
great products to help shorten your routines.

.: Accelerated Ablution
For faster showering try two-in-one products. For hair use a
shampoo-conditioner. Some we like are: Aussie Mega 2 in 1 Shampoo Conditioner and
John Masters Organics Zinc & Sage Shampoo with Conditioner .

Citrus Squeeze is an amazing sugar scrub made with plenty
of natural oils. It both scrubs and moisturizes, and the smell
is delightful. The oil feels great with out being greasy and
getting on clothes. You need no additional moisturizer on your
arms and legs after washing with this.
Save more time by passing on the traditional in shower conditioner
and use a leave-in product instead. Ojon Revitalizing Mist leaves hair soft manageable and shiny.
You can use it as a conditioner after showering, or on dry hair.
Really in a rush? Skip the shower all together and freshen hair
with Cake Satin Sugar
Refreshing Powder for Hair and Body. This is a great smelling
update on the old fashioned dry shampoo concept. Put a little in
your hair, sprinkle a little on your body and you are good to go.

If you are going to blow dry you need a fast dryer. The lastest
technology in hair drying uses the mineral tourmaline, which
is incredibly ionic, so dryers using it are much faster than

This is perfect for folks with long hair who blow it out everyday.

For straightening we like Easy

or without blow-drying.
Another tool for fast straightening is the MaxiGlide
Straightener. It uses ceramic plates to straighten and
has a steam button, just like an iron. The steam speeds the
straightening process and adds moisture. The MaxiGlide also
has ridges that detangle as you go, so you can skip combing
before you begin.

Speed make-up application along by using products that work
in more than one place. MAC's Makeup Colour Base can be used all over your face, neck
and chest, or practically anywhere else you want it. Once applied
the colors are subtle but make tired skin look awake. The finish

alone.

When you've really gotta get going, spritz nails with

name suggests, it dries polish in just a few seconds.
Doing nails at home saves time, but not if you keep messing
up and have to do it over and over. Sephora ingeniously created
the nail polish corrector pen. It is just what it says, a pen that
removes nail polish that went outside the lines. The tip is just
the right size to remove the mistakes without taking off all
the rest. At $6 you can get one for yourself and a few for friends.
Any gal would be thrilled to have anything this useful in their
stocking.
