It seems like we're besieged from every direction with celebrity
lines we just can't live without. Lucky for you, we waded through
the sea of designs and narrowed down the best of the best. Allow us to present the SheFinds guide to celebrity clothing
lines. And for those collections we didn't pick, better luck
next time.
Love,
SheFinds
.: Editor's Pick :.
We'll be picking up the pieces from Jovovich-Hawk. We're huge
fans of Milla's personal style and plan to steal some of it for
our own fall wardrobes.
Why It's Hot: We've
been talking about this line for a while because the designer
(who also happens to be our favorite reality star) has great
style and taste. The collection features LC's signature flowing
goddess and bubble dresses mixed with blouson tops and cute
wraps that are not only wearable, but very of-the-moment. Best
of all? Everything is machine washable!
What to Buy: With everything in the collection at or under $150,
we'd advise snagging anything you like. We're particularly fond
of the Audrina
Dress (named for her BFF and roomie), the Sophia
Dress and the Jillian
Dress.
Why It's Hot: Honestly, Gwen's been at it since she collaborated
with LeSportsac on a line of handbags back in 2002-2003 and she
shows no signs of slowing down. With her own line of clothing
and accessories, the pieces are vibrant and well-made, with a
bit of rock-star quality.
Why It's Hot: Pete Wentz, the bassist for uber-popular band
Fall Out Boy, has designed a very hip and cool line for DKNY
Jeans that's full of pieces for nights out or weekends, when
you want to inject a little rocker style into your existing wardrobe.
The Winner: William Rast (designed by Justin Timberlake and
Trace Ayala)
Why It's Hot: As we mentioned before in our denim guide, Justin
and his childhood friend are intent on bringing sexy back to
women's denim with these super comfortable jeans that have become
all the rage among Hollywood starlets.
What to Buy: Pick up a few styles in fall's hottest cuts: straight-leg
(The Sadie
Straight Leg should do the trick) and skinny
(The Rachel
Skinny Jean). Looking for a good boyfriend jean
for relaxing? Check out the 5-Pocket
Boot Jean with a laid-back Southern
style these Memphis-born boys are becoming known for.
Why it's Hot: Actress/model/musician/soon-to-be-mom Milla Jovivich
and her design partner, Carmen Hawk, are well-known among those
who like vintage-style clothes with a modern twist. The ladies
and their clothes are already beloved among the Hollywood set,
but look for the rest of us to catch the fever when their collection
for Target hits stores in Spring 2008.
What to Buy: The Viola Sweater Dress is a great pick for fall, as is the Vivian Dress, a twill 4-button shirtdress. Want something sexy and
cute for evening? Try the
Toni Dress
with opaque tights and booties – guaranteed to get
heads turning your way.
Why It's Hot: Sienna Miller and her equally stylish sister Savannah
have decided to bring their brand of boho chic to the masses
by designing and producing Twenty8Twelve (named after Sienna's
birthdate). The style is very Sienna – and priced to match.
Why It's Hot: Who would know lingerie better than someone who
made her living making other designer's unmentionables look hot?
It's no surprise that Elle, known as "The Body" when she
used to model, has had explosive success with her sexy line of
underwear, so if you don't have a piece from Ms. MacPherson's
collection, drop what you're doing now and pick up some of these
sexy, yet comfortable undergarments.
What to Buy: We're big fans of the Dentelle
Contour Bra and matching Bikini.
For something a little more everyday (although we're all for
wearing fab underwear every day), try the Skin
Lights Soft Cup Bra, great under t-shirts or fitted turtlenecks
for fall.
