What: Jessica Simpson’s William Rast Belle Flare Jeans

Why: In her 2003 song “With You,” Jessica Simpson told the world that “the real me is a Southern girl with her Levi’s on and an open heart.” Well, she must have made a few bucks since then; while she’s still working the classic jeans-and-white-tee look, her denim is a little more highfalutin than Levi’s. She’s supporting fellow popster Justin Timberlake by slipping into a dark-washed pair of flares from his William Rast line. The Southern influence can be felt (Justin grew up in Tennessee) in cowboy-inspired stitching and deep, dark indigo.

You probably have all the pieces you need to re-create Jessica’s go-anywhere look: a fitted white tee, big gold hoops, sky high brown leather platforms and a teeny tiny clutch. Oh, and you may want to do a few crunches and wear a thong: these jeans ride low.
