My impression is different. A day time wedding that ends in an evening reception is an evening wedding. A daytime wedding that ends in the daytime, is a daytime wedding. That being said, a LBD is not an ideal day time wedding outfit. Fab for evening though. Check out these wedding cheat sheets:
