Guy Friday: Pants That Feel As Good As Pajamas But Are Acceptable On A Date
Category: Fashion Guy Friday Men's Fashion

What: Bonobos Pants, $100-$160 Why: Okay, guys--listens up. Just because you don't have the slim physique of Orlando Bloom or the super skinny hipsters that just moved in on your block doesn't mean you shouldn't have your pick of cool pants. We women can't figure out why slyish men's clothes seem to be cut for dudes with no butt (hello, we're not interested in dating someone with a teenager's body), but the alternative for guys with a more athletic figure seems to be baggy, badly-made designs that make skin-tight seem preferable. So we couldn't be any happier with the discover of Bonobos, a small web-only site launched by two Stanford Business School grads with an eye for fashion and real men, not European runway models, could wear. The results? Fashionable trousers that are just as appropriate for Saturday night on the town as they are lounging around the house Sunday morning. Fun details include patterned pocket trim and bright color options plus a variety of styles in lightweight corduroy, cotton twill, and even a wool version for battling the cold weather in style. Cuts are true to size, so if you know your waist and inseam, you can order without concern for finding the correct fit. But remember--pants are made in limited quantities, so if you see one you really like, get it quickly. When it's gone, it's truly gone. Get Yours: Bonobospants.com

Bonobos are the bomb. My husband has 6 or so pairs and that is all he wears now. The quality is fabulous and the fit is unlike anything else my husband has found. They look hot too. I am a big fan. Every guy should check them out.

These pants are amazing - ladies, you HAVE to buy your boyfriend/husband/lover a pair of bonobos. I didn't think I cared that much about checking out my boyfriend's butt until I got him a pair of bonobos, then I realized it was because his butt never looked good in jeans since they fit so loosely. And he LOVES the pants, wears them everywhere for days in a row because they are so comfortable. Great buy - and it's reasonably priced because there is no retail mark-up

The day after I got engaged to my husband, I went into his closet and threw out half of his clothes (is that bad?). I'm sorry but some of his pants were horrendous...the only problem was that I couldn't find pants that looked good, were affordable and weren't jeans. Until we discovered Bonobos...they look so good on him that sometimes I even get jealous. I want a pair. I highly recommend them.

my husband has a very cute butt that he used to hide under pleated khakis (yes, pleated)...after gentle prodding from me & a few friends, he decided it was time for a wardrobe update. bonobos provided a perfect solution: not jeans, so he can wear them to work. super stylish, but preppy enough that a guy who loves polos can feel good in them (more daring metrosexuals can just choose funkier colors/fabrics!) he looks so cute that my hip 80+ yr old father decided he had to own a pair as well...
