In the 70’s, extremely tanned women were referred to as “golden goddesses.” Mariah Carey, our chart-topping diva extraordinaire and lover of all things disco-era, has evidently decided to bring shiny back and create the most glamorous (but fake) tan under the sun. In an effort to prove that all that glitters is gold, Mariah is developing a fake tan made with 24-karat gold dust.
In a partnership with her personal tanning assistant, Jenny Phillips (of Portofino Sun Center and Spa fame -– a must-stop for those currently fake-baking in the 90210), the dazzling duo are developing what has been quoted as “an exclusive line of bronzer containing real 24-karat gold dust” based on the tanning process Ms. Thing uses before going on stage for her current concert tour for The Emancipation of Mimi.
Step right up and don’t be shy: will you indulge your inner diva with Mariah’s 24-karat gold magic bronzer or will you pass on this Bond-girl-worthy product?

Love the concept cause its uber-diva-chic! However hate that it's Mariah. I don't like her as a person. She comes across as a little harsh and snotty.
