What: Tandem Umbrella For Lovers 

Why: How many times has your handsome, dark eyed, olive skinned, impeccably dressed, financially stable, 6 foot 4 boyfriend with a sexy European accent tried to hold his umbrella for the two of you in the pouring rain only to end up getting you both soaked? Well only one half of that sentence may be true. But we certainly all know how annoying it is to try and share an umbrella - whether it's with a fictional soul mate or merely a friend with whom you happened to get caught in a spring shower.

The new Tandem Umbrella is one part genius and one part a little creepy - but I suppose only because anything that strays from our original concept of what an umbrella should look like (Nubrella comes to mind, or perhaps the upright Tsuboi Umbrella) makes us all a little uncomfortable - until we realize just how functional these new devices can be. The question then remains, would you be the first to sport the Tandem? Unfortunately, if you are brave enough, you'll have to wait it out, as it's not available in stores just yet.

For equal coverage with one less stem, opt for the Davek Duvet - at 55" in diameter, it's sure to keep you and your Italian honey dry and cozy.
