Tip #1: Choose A Hydrating, Antioxidant-Filled Mask

When shopping for face masks, you may see terms like 'brightening' or 'exfoliating,' Factor notes, but the most important ones to look for to have a dewier look over 50 are 'hydrating' and anything that indicates it was made with 'antioxidants.'

You will need to apply a conductor gel to your skin first (the device requires it to work, plus you don’t want to feel the little sparks on your skin that occur without the gel). It can be used along your jawline, cheekbones, and forehead and it conveniently beeps after an area has been treated so that you know when to move on.

There are a number of different NuFACE devices that are offered at various price points. The $209 option includes a NuFACE Mini Device, aqua gel activator, a power adapter, and a user manual and quick start guide.

What Reviewers Have To Say

It’s one thing to hear celebs glow on about a product and it’s quite another to hear from people who aren’t BFF’s with their founders, we get it. But the thing is, NuFACE’s reviews are, across the board, mostly excellent.

One 5-star reviewer wrote: “So thankful I found this! It has helped so much with my jawline and lower cheek area!”

Another raved: “i’ve been using it for about a month and i can see a difference. my skin is clear and taut. i notice a big difference around my jawline.”

And yet another reviewer wrote: “Results are real. Easy to use. I have seen noticeable results in two weeks.”

If you’re spending money on moisturizers and not seeing the results you want or have been thinking about introducing a skincare tool into your arsenal, take it from Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, and loads of happy customers: NuFACE may prove your perfect introduction to micro current.

#2: Use Your Face Mask 2-3 Times Per Week

Any great anti-aging mask will "deposit antioxidants, brighten and hydrate the skin, which is great for fine lines and wrinkles," Factor says. In order to find the absolute best mask for your skin and personal goals, meeting with your dermatologist can help. In general, she stresses that for best results, use a hydrating and antioxidant-rich mask "two to three times per week for a month."

By doing this, Chacon adds, "skin tone will be improved overall." You'll notice that your "skin feels and looks smoother and has a beautiful glow, and you'll also look more rested," she continues. Overall, Factor concludes, by regularly applying face masks with anti-aging properties over 50, you can "help diminish fine lines and reduce wrinkles and brown spots." In other words, these signs of aging can look less noticeable, and your glow will be more apparent and emphasized after frequent use.
