Ladies,
The holidays are the perfect time to "gift" your guy a new look. We asked Ami Arad -- Founder of On The Fly, the "one-stop shop" for the modern gentleman -- to help us
outfit our man.
Ami said that "hip" means different things to different guys. While a man might prefer a certain look or style, the modern gentleman borrows pieces, patterns and inspiration from different "lifestyles."
Dress him up, dress him downthe modern gentleman should have versatile pieces that can go wherever you need him.
So behold - Ami's picks to hippify your guy. And just for you - On The Fly is offering SheFinds customers 10% off any orderjust use promotion code 'SHEFOUND' when you check out (one-time use only).
Love,
SheFinds
P.S. Did you go shopping and end up empty-handed? Check our guide for where to find sold-out items - get them before they're gone.

Hipster
The true "Hipster" has long
since given up the overdone, untucked striped
shirt over a pair of jeans look. Help him pick
out a pair of slacks with some texture or a
pattern or both. One of our favorite new brands,
Modern Amusement, updates corduroy with this
dandy trouser, while Banana Republic offers
slightly-more-formal-but-still-timely wool
tattersall slacks with a subtle windowpane.
Gently alert him to the fact
that he should tuck in his shirt to show off
his belt (an accessory that was long overdue
for a little character) like this
one from Linea Pelle at Neiman Marcus.

Wall Street
Happy hour in the Financial
District requires attire that is a little more
bold, more formal, more "Wall Street". Bold ties
are back, and it's hard to go wrong with Dolce
& Gabbana or Brioni.
To stick out in a crowd, bypass
the standard issue black or tan overcoat and try
shearling. The Montana
leather jacket from Andrew Marc feels even
better than it looks, and that's saying a lot.
Finally, no Wall Street outfit is complete without
a pair of shiny
cufflinks.

Old School
Even young guys can appreciate
the timeless fabrics and styles we would typically
consider "Old School".
The three big trends in sweaters
are cashmere, cardigans and vests. In some cases,
you can find two of the three in a single item.
This cashmere
cardigan looks like something your grandpa
would wear, except when paired with some designer
jeans and a vibrant shirt. Ted Baker also updates
the cardigan.
Preppies will appreciate this
argyle
sweater from Lacoste, at Nordstrom.com.
The bag makes the man. He'll
love the clean, classic style of Timbuk2's
lightweight, tailored briefcase. Available
in two sizes, for standard and widescreen laptops.
