The first photos of Kim Kardashian’s all black and white wedding just hit the web, and among them, stunning shots of her aisle runner. Julie Goldman The Original Runner Company is behind Kim’s 196-foot aisle runner. Julie, whose created runners for tons of high profile weddings (from Fergie to Bethenny Frankel and Kevin Jonas), gave us the scoop on what it was like to design and execute such an A-list project…
Julie’s team was commissioned by Kim’s wedding planner Sharon Sacks to “make a black and white aisle runner for Kim’s wedding, which entailed replicating the couple’s classic KK logo in Swarovski crystals – two times!” Julie explains. “Then we added a delicate vintage flourish down the sides of the 196 foot runner.”
“We had been told that there was would be no other décor for the ceremony aisle so the runner really had to make a statement,” Julie continued.
Once we saw the video of the ceremony, we knew we had done our job and added a classic elegance to the luxurious wedding.
