Well, it’s officially wedding season! Another high-profile wedding happened this weekend:
Vice President Joe Biden and Jill Biden’s youngest daughter, Ashley Biden, 30, a social worker, married Dr. Howard Krein, 45 a Philadelphia-based plastic surgeon on Saturday in Greenville, Delaware. Ashley Biden’s wedding gown was a custom Vera Wang mermaid gown draped in tulle and an organza petal skirt. She wore her hair flowy and down with a Chantilly lace veil.
In the church where the bride was baptized, St. Joseph on the Brandywine, the couple wed in a Jewish-Catholic ceremony with only family and a 27-person bridal party(!) present. 200 guests then celebrated at the Biden family’s lakeside home in Wilmington in a backyard family-style dinner and reception.
The couple will honeymoon in an undisclosed location.
