60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

Do you ever apply lipstick and say to your reflection “Damn, am I Kylie Jenner or what?” but then you open your mouth to see half the tube is smeared on your teeth? Yeah, happens to the best of us. Getting lipstick on your teeth is just so annoying, and also so preventable. Here’s how:

1) Try the “finger in mouth” trick

OK, we know this sounds weird, but it’s the oldest trick in the book. After you apply your lipstick, open your mouth into an O shape. Bend your finger into a hook shape, put it halfway in your mouth, then slide it out. Any lipstick that was inside your mouth is now on your finger instead of your teeth. It’s that easy!

2) Use lip liner under lipstick

Instead of just lining your lips, apply lip liner to your entire lips before putting on lipstick. Not only will this help the color stay on longer, but it also won’t transfer as easily (aka, won’t *magically* migrate on to your pearly whites).

3) Apply lipstick with a brush

If you put on lipstick with a brush instead of just swiping it, you’re way more precise. AKA, you won’t get it all over the place. We know, more time-consuming, but so worth it.
