A Find: The Noella Boot

December 30, 2005 by SheFindsKim

The Noella Boot from Cole Haan These are not boots for the masses. It takes a special person to wear the Noella boot by Cole Haan (as well as the right outfit and the right occasion). According to Gordon Thompson III, Cole Haan’s Creative Director, the gorgeous brocade used in the Limited Edition Noella is from Tatsumura, a royal silk house in Japan. A legendary house, Tatsumura is even noted in the film “Memoirs of a Geisha.” The boots’ high shaft, lace up front and fur trim all contribute to their head-turning presence. They also come in tweed/suede, black kidskin and zebra print versions. I never thought the words “Cole Haan” and “head turning” would go together. But it seems Mr. Thompson has spearheaded the company’s turnaround from staid to stunning. Find the Noella boots and more Cole Haan stunners at ColeHaan.com.
