What: Benefit Cosmetics Hollywood Glo, $24
Why: My outfit is all planned out: a beautiful sky blue sweater, a calf length skirt with tulle overlay and just enough sequins to sparkle like stars, and the sweetest little backless rhinestone sandals (nevermind the cold weather). My only worry? That my skin will look too pale to stand up to my style.
Benefit Hollywood Glo is just the thing to give my skin a bit of sheen, but nothing overwhelming though. I'll already have enough sparkle with my outfit; I don't want to glow like the Las Vegas strip. The rose hued luminizer imparts just the subtle sheen I need. It has sufficient moisture that it goes on smooth and feels comfortable on, but if your skin tends to be on the dry side, wear lotion underneath. Although it's made for the face, we've also found that it works great to give a little glow to anywhere you dare to go bare.
