60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

We’ve covered fake handbags and bruised egos before, but this lawsuit tops them all. Thursday Friday, a contemporary accessories company, is being sued by Hermes for copying their Birkin bag design, according to official court documents we’ve obtained. We’re not talking about replica handbags here – we’re talking about a picture of the Birkin bag itself.

Thursday Friday has been screen printing the image on their Together bags, eco-friendly shopping tote bags. While the idea seems practical, and kind of humorous, Hermes isn’t laughing. They believe Thursday Friday is “riding on their reputation” and “confusing, misleading, and deceiving the public.” While we don’t yet know the amount they’re suing for, we’re willing to guess it’s a hefty fee. Hermes doesn’t mess around.
