More Than 78K Cases Of Fiji Water Recalled
The recalled bottles were sold in 24-packs that contained 500-milliliter bottles and had production dates of November 11th, 2023; November 12th, 2023; November 13th, 2023; November 24th, 2023; and November 25th, 2023.
The case UPC on the recalled bottles is 632565000043 and the bottle UPC is 632565000012.
Fiji Water took to X following the recall to reassure customers of the safety of the popular water.
"FIJI Water remains safe to buy and consume," the company said on X. "This is a quality issue only affecting the specific lots sold on Amazon.com between February 1, 2024 and March 3, 2024."
The mineral found in the potentially affected bottles, Manganese, naturally occurs in the human body but could be toxic to humans if it is consumed in high quantities.
However, the Fiji Water recall is labeled as Class III and is not likely to cause adverse health consequences, according to the FDA website.
