If you think that red carpet dresses are getting too see-through, get a load of this trend: crochet!
The incredibly hole-y fabric made its 2019 debut on the runways of Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, 3.1 Phillip Lim and others at New York Fashion Week. And now ready-to-wear designers from Ulla Johnson to Tory Burch have jumped on board with the trend, releasing everything from crop tops to hoodies to dresses and more in the woven fabric.
But it’s not a *real* trend until your favorite celeb wears it, right? Off-duty models and influencers such as Nina Agdal, Shay Mitchell, Rocky Barnes and Gizele Oliveira have all stepped out in the knit recently (it was particularly appropriate for Coachella).
So–what do you think?? Will you be wearing the trend?
