3 Common Apps That Are Slowing Down Your iPhone–#2 Is Pre-Installed!

If you’re struggling to keep your phone up to speed, it may be time to turn your attention to the apps on your device. These three common apps could be slowing down your iPhone — and number two is even a pre-installed app, believe it or not. 

It’s not JUST video that runs down your phone’s battery, it’s resource-intensive apps in general. But many of these types of apps, including Facebook and Instagram, include video components that auto-play every time you run the app. As a result of this, your phone can stall while these apps are in use or on your device. One way you can address this issue without deleting these apps is by setting your video quality to a lower quality that saves data. Head to Facebook > settings & Privacy > settings > preferences > media and change these video settings.
