Using Non-Apple Chargers and AccessoriesOne of the most important charging tips for your iPhone is to make sure the charging cables and accessories that you use are Apple-certified. Using a non-Apple, cheaper cable, for example, can deliver the wrong amount of charging power, which can cause your phone battery to overheat. Heat and a phone battery do NOT mix. Spend a few more dollars if possible to upgrade your accessories and charge your phone safely.
