Professional hairstylist Helen Sroski shared her 3 top tips for hiding hair fallout – and there’s something for everyone!
Tip #1
"If you have long straight hair, hair thinning and bald patches can be more pronounced. Cutting your hair short into choppy layers with longer layers in the back and shorter layers in the front can help add volume and make your hair appear thicker!"
Tip #2
Sroski recommends adding some dimension to your hair to give the illusion of fullness.
"Opt for a mix of dark and light highlights for your hair. It creates a sort of gradient and gives an illusion of volume and movement. The way light falls on your hair - it will make your hair appear fuller than it actually is."
Tip #3
According to Sroski, texturizing sprays are your best friend. When it comes to adding volume and working with the hair you've got, products, products, products can really be lifesavers.
"If it’s possible use texturizing hair sprays and light serums and throw out the heavy mousses or creams when styling your hair. Heavy hair products weigh down your hair and make them look thin and limp."
