Frozen meals can be a great option to get a full and balanced meal when you are in a time crunch or don’t feel up to cooking. However, you have to be careful when selecting these foods because frozen meals can contain many unhealthy or fattening ingredients. Some of these foods might even look healthy, when in reality they are just the opposite.

These are the four WORST frozen foods that you should never eat:

Pillsbury Toaster Strudel

Toaster strudels are one of the worst frozen foods you can eat because they are made with high levels of sugar and flour, with a filling of extra sugar. This translates into carbs and fat. Basically, toaster strudel is healthy for you whether you eat it for breakfast, a snack or dessert.

Lean Cuisine

Though Lean Cuisine meals look and seem healthy, most actually aren't. These foods are quite low in calories, which makes us think they are good for us, but they make up for the saved calories with high levels of sodium which can be detrimental to your overall health.

Hot Pockets

Similarly to Lean Cuisine, there are many types of Hot Pockets that can seem healthy but actually aren't. These foods often have very little in the way of fiber and protein, and contain high levels of carbohydrates, meaning there is little nutritional value compared to the amount of food you eat with Hot Pockets.

Kellogg’s Breakfast Sandwich

Another unhealthy food in disguise, these breakfast sandwiches typically contain saturated fats and high levels of calories - which are two of the wrost things you can give your body first thing in the morning.
