The key to staying healthy is to eat good foods most of the time, and it’s not the end of the world to eat something that’s bad for you once in a while. However, there are some foods you should cross off your “guilty pleasure” list because they are so bad for you that the risk is not worth the payoff.

Cheeseburgers

It should come as no surprise that cheeseburgers are very bad for you. With high-fat red meat, even fattier cheese and a carby bun, a cheeseburger is the trifecta of unhealthiness. Next time, opt for a lean turkey burger instead.

Wedge Salads

It will probably come as a surprise that wedge salads are typically bad for you. This type of salad is built on a wedge of lettuce, but that is pretty much the only healthy part about the meal. Most restaurants top wedge salads with a ton of fattening foods like cheese, creamy dressings or bacon. 

Pizza

Unfortunately, pizza is one of the foods that you should try to avoid. We all love indulging in a take-out pizza pie, but this high-carb and high-fat food is definitely not something you should eat regularly. Try making your own cauliflower pizza crust and topping it with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes for a better alternative.
