5-Minute Protein Brownie Recipe For Weight Loss

She notes that this serving carries about 12g of protein which will keep you feeling full and give you energy while indulging in this sweet treat.

She starts by adding cocoa powder, powdered peanut butter, and flour or pancake mix. Then, she adds her choice of sweetener, baking powder, and a dash of salt.

“This is where I might lose some of you guys, but we’re going to use apple sauce…this is what makes it stay moist,” she says. After adding three tablespoons of apple sauce, she mixes everything together and adds a little bit of water.

After she gets her desired consistency, chocolate chips are added and the mix is baked for 1 minute. Then, all that’s left to do is enjoy!

This brownie recipe incorporates several healthy ingredients and substitutions to make it a nutritious option for indulging in a sweet treat. Specifically, applesauce serves as a substitute for oil or butter commonly found in brownies. It adds moisture to the mix while reducing the overall fat content. Additionally, applesauce is naturally sweet and contributes to the soft texture of the brownies.
