So, you're getting married in just six weeks. Congrats, but whoa--this is getting real, huh? Absolutely--you've just reached the final sprint. Here's exactly what you SHOULDN'T do in the home stretch to 'I do.'

Spending too much time on social

By now, you've got your theme, your color scheme, most of the wedding decisions have been made--it's time to put down the Pinterest. Looking at other people's weddings will only make you crazy--you'll start obsessing about what other people have done (trust us--the options are endless) and lose sight of the vision for YOUR day.

Crash dieting

Everything in moderation. Even if you're trying to lose more weight before the wedding, this is not the time to go crazy and adopt a only-eats-celery diet. You need to continue with the healthy eating habits you've had the rest of the year. If you fad diet, you're likely to fall off and gain all the weight back.

Not getting organized

Now is the time for check lists and using that calendar or personal planner to get super organized. There are many moving parts to a wedding--if you're even marginally type A, it's time to turn it on. It's like cramming for a final exam--use those flash cards, highlighters, whatever it takes.

Not exercising

Exercise is a big stress reliever for many people--if you're dedicated to any health and wellness routine, whether it be running, an exercise class, meditation, etc., now is not the time to fall off because you're 'so busy' from the wedding. You'll need that outlet more than ever in the final weeks of prep.

Losing too much weight

Losing too much weight could really screw up your final dress fittings--so be realistic. If you plan to lose more weight, let your tailor know and plan for as many fittings as possible before the big day. If you loose a bunch of weight unexpectedly--try the dress immediately.

Making changes

Now is the time to stick to the decisions you've made. Swapping out your vail last minute, for example, means you'll need another hair trial. Many decisions rely on eachother, and you have to really think about the impact if you start switching things up at the last minute.
