Forget Vegas — there’s plenty of fun to be had at a bachelorette party without having a drop of alcohol (really!). We’ve come up with a list of our favorite ideas to celebrate the bride to be and make sure everyone has a good time.
Spa Day. Every woman can use a day of rest and relaxation, so book a spa day for the bridal party. An afternoon of massages, manis and pedis will help the bride de-stress from all of that wedding planning.
Paint Nite. Group painting classes are popular now for Ladies’ Night Out, and you can do it with or without the alcohol. Get a group together to paint, eat and chat—and you’ll also have a beautiful work of art to take home at the end of the night. Find local classes at paintnite.com.
Dance Lessons. This is a great idea for a joint bachelor and bachelorette party, or you can go with just the girls. Who knows? Maybe you’ll come up with a dance to perform together at the reception. Either way, learning a few smooth moves is a lot of fun.
Cooking Classes. Take a cooking class to learn how to put together one special meal, and then enjoy it together (with or without the wine pairings).
A Mud Run. For the bride who loves to workout, a mud run could make for a memorable (although dirty) good time. Just make sure not to hold it too close to the wedding date in case there are any injuries! You can find a local run near you at godirtygirl.com or mudrunfun.com.
Psychic Night. Who doesn’t enjoy a glimpse into the future? Hire a psychic or Tarot Card reader come to your house for a special group reading.
Scavenger Hunt. Create a scavenger hunt with hints based on the bride and groom’s relationship, with the last clue sending the guest of honor to her favorite restaurant where you’ll all be waiting to celebrate with her.
Amusement Park. Take a girl’s trip to Florida or California to visit Disney, or simply spend the day at your local amusement park to ride the roller coasters, play some games and eat as much junk food as you can handle.
