8 Cheap Bachelorette Party Ideas

November 22, 2016 by Linda DiProperzio

While many brides dream about a weekend away for their bachelorette party, that type of event is not always in the budget. From celebrations that don’t include alcohol to having something out-of-the-box, there are plenty of ways to have a great time with the girls without breaking the bank. Here are nine fun ideas that anyone can afford.

Bar Crawl

Be sure to choose places with no cover charges, and if you can find some deals (like ladies drink free or two-for-one drinks) even better!

Work Up A Sweat

Take your favorite yoga class together, and then go for brunch afterwards. Bachelorette parties don’t just have to be about drinking and dancing the night away. Some other activities can include bowling, playing a round of mini-golf or even running a 5K.

Paint a Masterpiece

Paint and Sip nights are hot right now, and gives everyone a chance to express their creativity while also enjoying a cocktail or two. Be sure to look out for Groupons or ask for a group rate.

Book A Suite

Stay local, but still book a beautiful hotel room so you can get the feel of a weekend away. Order room service and even splurge for a spa treatment. Splitting the bill between the bridesmaids should keep the cost down

Dinner Party

You can all have a great time cooking a meal together. Everyone is in charge of a certain part of the meal--appetizers, entrée, side dishes and dessert--and you can prepare and then enjoy it all at home.

Manicures

Who doesn't love a relaxing manicure? Rather than forcing your maids to  shell out money for a far-flung getaway, gather the girls and splurge on the best manis your local spa has to offer.

Girls' Sleepover

Relive your teen years by having a good old-fashioned pajama party. Order pizza, open up some wine, Netflix and chill with your besties for a fun (but more laid back) night.

Free Concert

Summer is usually the best time to catch some free shows around town, but you might also luck out around the holiday season. Check the local paper for ideas on what’s happening near you.
