How badly do you just want your iPhone battery to hold a charge? Or to keep going so that you can download files and apps and do what you need to do on it without your phone dying?
If your iPhone battery causes you major headaches and you suspect some of the apps on your phone and the settings you have enabled could be at fault, there are ways to clean up your device so that you open up the channels for longer battery life. Start here: these are some easy ways to clean up your iPhone from battery-draining apps and settings.
Turn off Background App RefreshBefore you delete a single app, a few steps you can take include changing those settings that wear your battery down the fastest. One such setting is Background App Refresh, which is exactly what it sounds like: it makes sure your apps are completely refreshed with new content so that they deliver fresh posts to you the second you click on them. This takes up a lot of battery power, though, so you can disable it by going to Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
Location ServicesDo all of your apps really need to have access to your location? Allowing them to do so is actually a battery strain — one that can be avoided. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and keep this on only for apps that truly need it (you can also opt to allow apps to access your location only while using them).
