Robin Roberts Is ‘Furious’ Over ABC’s Handling Of Robach and Holmes’ Affair
Roberts, 62, is reportedly “furious” with the way the network has handled the affair, and even took her complaint straight to the top at Disney – which is ABC‘s parent company – to say that she thinks the whole situation is “messy,” adding that it is also “tainting the brand.” Yikes!
According to the Daily Mail, Roberts says she found out about her co-hosts’ affair some time ago, and told both Holmes and Robach to “knock it off” as soon as she caught wind.

David Muir Reportedly ‘Wants No Part’ In The Scandal
Roberts isn’t the only one to disapprove, as a source told Page Six that Robach’s 20/20 co-host, David Muir, 49, “wants no part” in the affair scandal. “He’s not having it. He’s the face of the evening news and nothing about him ever makes it into the papers. He’s very private and no one at ABC likes the way Amy and T.J. handled it,” the insider said.
“Every anchor is upset that Amy and T.J. have caused such drama,” the insider continued, while a spokesperson for ABC News simply added: “David is focused on the work, not any of this.”
How Is ABC Currently Handling The Affair?
ABC is continuing its internal investigation into Robach and Holmes’ affair while they are still suspended from GMA3, although network bosses are reportedly still unsure how to handle the situation. Neither Robach nor Holmes have been on the air together since last Friday, and as it stands, nobody in the network seems to know when – or if – they will return!
According to the Daily Mail‘s source, ABC News President Kim Godwin, who made the decision to pull them from the air following the fallout, is “hopeless” (ouch!) and is “busy making sure her best interests are covered and doesn’t seem to be able to come to any decision at all. She’s totally unavailable and mostly hiding in her office.”

And according RadarOnline, another well-placed source has hinted that the network *may* choose to fire Holmes due to his reputation as a “serial cheater” – although letting him go is not without its problems either! “There’s been all these stories about T.J. being a serial cheater with at least one other affair and hints that there are more,” the source explained.

“But how can they let him go and keep Amy? They love her and they don’t want to lose her. But imagine the possible backlash if they go down that path. Letting the black man go and keeping the white woman? It looks like the worst sort of double standard and would leave them wide open to allegations of racism.”
And the plot thickens, as yet another GMA insider said that there are so many secret affairs going on at the network, and if “Amy and T.J. are punished for their affair,” ABC will have to “bring a prison bus to the studios to ship out all of the other couples who’re at it.” Omg!
