Adele‘s weight loss journey in recent years is undeniably one of the most remarkable celebrity transformations to date. In 2019, the Grammy winner made a plethora of headlines when she shed a staggering 100 pounds over the course of two years.

While some were skeptical of the means behind her success, the “Easy On Me” hitmaker, 36, clarified that her weight loss was due to her steadfast commitment to a balanced diet and strength training exercises, the latter of which she later claimed was very beneficial for her ongoing anxiety.

How Adele Impressively Shed 100 Lbs In Just 2 Years

Adele’s disciplined and consistent approach to health and wellness paved the way for a stunning transformation that captured the attention of many. Her methods were questioned by many, prompting her to divulge her rigorous exercise regimen.

In an interview with British Vogue, Adele told the outlet all about her exercise routine – we’ll get to her diet a little further down. “So I do my weights in the morning, then I normally hike or I box in the afternoon, and then I go and do my cardio at night,” the “Set Fire to the Rain” singer explained.

She told the pub that her main focus was on improving her mental health through regular exercise, which coincidentally resulted in weight loss, but that was not her primary objective.

Adele Says She Became 'Addicted' To Exercise Because It Helped Her With Her Anxiety

"It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone. I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day," she revealed. The "Skyfall" singer also stressed that she had the help of trainers and acknowledged that this may not be "doable for a lot of people."

The "Rolling in the Deep" artist debunked rumors that she had tried "intermittent fasting," and said: "People have been talking about my body for 12 years. They used to talk about it before I lost weight. But yeah, whatever, I don't care."

Adele continued, sharing more about her healthy mindset: "You don't need to be overweight to be body positive, you can be any shape or size."

What Does Adele Eat For Breakfast, Lunch, And Dinner?

We've covered exercise, now what about her diet? The "Hello" hitmaker has always stressed that it took both diet and exercise to drop the pounds, and no doubt she is continuing to eat well and work out to maintain her new svelte frame.

Although she told British Vogue that she did *not* do intermittent fasting and actually ate more than ever due to her rigorous exercising, many people think she tried the celeb-approved Sirtfood diet. And if she did (or still does!) here are some of the things that she could have eaten/currently eats…

We can already assume that the "When We Were Young" singer starts her day with a cup of tea, as she told British Vogue she "obviously" prefers tea over coffee. She previously said, "I used to drink ten cups [of tea] a day with two sugars in each," but we wonder if she has since eliminated the sugar or swapped it for sweetener instead. In addition to a traditional cup of tea, what else could the British Oscar-winner have for breakfast?

A typical Sirtfood breakfast might consist of soy yogurt with mixed berries, chopped walnuts, and dark chocolate; or if she's on the go, perhaps she goes for a healthy green juice consisting of kale, rocket, celery, apple, lemon, and matcha.

According to Eatthis, a typical Sirtfood lunch could consist of a kale salad with parsley, celery, apples, and walnuts topped with olive oil and lemon juice. The "Oh My God" singer could also fuel her body with a strawberry buckwheat tabouleh with avocado, tomato, dates, and parsley, again with an olive oil and lemon dressing. Yum!

And dinner is just as nutritious, as it could consist of grilled or baked chicken breast with a kale and onion salad topped with a tomato and chili salsa. Or she could go down the more traditional route and cook a classic roast dinner, which she previously said her son Angelo, now 11, loves, and one which she claimed she was "pretty great at doing every single Sunday."

What Is Adele's Cheat Meal?

Although the "Turning Tables" musician told the fashion bible that she didn't follow any fad diets and just ate healthily, Adele did confess that she allowed herself a cheat meal at least once a week. And she didn't hesitate to share what that cheat meal is…

"My ideal meal, my death row meal, my last meal, would be a McChicken Nugget with a Big Mac and then fries," she confessed, adding: "That's my three-course. I eat it at least once a week."

We also have it on good authority that Adele loves a glass of rosé, and previously joked about stocking up on it during the Covid-19 pandemic. "My first emergency run at the grocery store was for Whispering Angel and ketchup," she joked. "Whispering Angel turned me into a barking dog. It did not make me whisper."
