Adele has been keeping a low profile over the past few months – presumably because she canceled (or more accurately, postponed) some of her Las Vegas residency tour dates on doctors’ orders and faced backlash for not updating fans about the rescheduled dates. However, she made a rare appearance for music producer Lenny Santiago’s birthday party at Soho House in Malibu on Sunday, April 21st, wearing an all-black ensemble and hiding her face behind an Hermès Kelly clutch bag. Check out some pics here and here.
Although the “Rolling in the Deep” singer has now updated her fans about the rescheduled Weekends with Adele show dates (find out more info below) perhaps she still wasn’t ready to face the paps or her fans due to the immense backlash she received for leaving her fans in the dark for so long.

Adele Postponed 'Weekends With Adele' Las Vegas Dates In February On Doctors' Orders
When Adele postponed some of her March 2024 Weekends with Adele show dates at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace on doctors' orders at the end of February, she told fans that she would soon update them with new show dates. However, fans were kept in the dark for over one month, which they were not happy about due to spending so much money on the tickets, as well as flights and accommodation.
The dates that Adele had to reschedule were as follows: March 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th.

"Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break," the "Hello" singer wrote on Instagram on February 28th. "I hadn't quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I'm sick again, and unfortunately it's taken a toll on my voice," she continued.
The "Easy on Me" singer added: "And so on Doctors orders I have no choice but to rest thoroughly. The remaining five weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date. We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information ASAP." She captioned the statement: "I love you. I'll miss you like mad and I'm sorry for the inconvenience x."
Many fans understandably flooded the comments section with sympathy and well-wishes when she first posted the statement. But some of the fans who had tickets for the postponed shows were asking for information about the rescheduled dates over a month later, as they hadn't heard anything from the Oscar-winner, the venue, or Ticketmaster.
Some fans were upset that they hadn't been offered a refund as the show was still going ahead, albeit at a later date, while others simply just wanted answers. Interestingly some fans, according to the Instagram comments section, *had* been given a refund after asking Ticketmaster themselves, although there were no clear instructions how to do so.
Fans Demanded 'Updates' And 'Answers' On Social Media At The Time
Other fans were simply furious that the "Skyfall" singer had canceled the shows and left them out of pocket, as they had booked flights and accommodation and were not entitled to a refund from the airlines and hotels.
"Any updates on rescheduled dates?" asked one fan in the comments section a month ago, before Adele had issued her April 2nd update on Instagram. "I understand things happen but to not cancel and allow people to get a refund is ridiculous!" the fan continued, adding: "I had no choice but to still go to Vegas due to flight and hotels already booked! Thousands of dollars for tickets without a show! Everyone should be afraid to book tickets because this can happen to them! If a show is canceled refund the money! Allow us to re-book if we want. Who's to say the dates will work out for most people anyways?"
"When are we getting an update? It has been a month with no update and no option to elect a refund. This is really disheartening for your fans who worked MONTHS to save up for your show," commented another disappointed fan at the time.
"1 Month and NOTHING about the rescheduled dates. You suck at communication and apparently don't understand what ASAP means," slammed another fan back in March, before the update, as someone else said: "Adele babe, we need answers it's been weeks."
