Adele has made no secret of the fact that she wants to have another baby! The 33-year-old “Easy On Me” singer made the shocking confession about wanting to give nine-year-old son, Angelo, who she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, a little brother or sister when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, February 11th.
The 15-time Grammy winner made the surprising announcement when she was talking to the comedian and talk show host about why she made the controversial decision to cancel her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace, and then insisted that she would definitely be rescheduling; sooner rather than later! When Norton asked whether fans can expect the show to go ahead this year, or if it would take a little longer, the singer insisted that it “absolutely” had to, as she had other plans for 2023. And those plans, are to have another baby!

“It is absolutely 100% happening this year. It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year,” the “When We Were Young” musician said on the show, and added, “Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!” Wow! She wasn’t as forthcoming with information about her rumored engagement though!
Fans caught a glimpse at what appeared to be a gargantuan engagement ring on *that* finger when she attended the BRIT Awards on Tuesday, February 8th (she won not one but three gongs that night, FYI!) but she neither confirmed nor denied the speculation that she is now engaged to 40-year-old sports agent Rich Paul. Fans were none the wiser after her Graham Norton appearance, either, as she simply said: “As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t!” She paused for a brief monent and said, “Lovely though, isn’t it?” in reference to the ring. What a tease!

In the same interview, the “Oh My God” singer gave quite a lengthy answer as to why she made the difficult decision to cancel her Las Vegas shows just one day before the residency was due to start. “I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something together in time,” the “Someone Like You” singer explained. “I regret that I kept going until that late in the day. It would have been a really half-[expletive] show and I can’t do that.”
“People will see straight through me up on the stage and know I didn’t want to be doing it. I’ve never done anything like that in my life and I’m not going to start now,” the Oscar-winner continued, before saying that she is reluctant to announce any new dates until the show is definitely ready, so as to avoid the same thing happening again and disappointing fans yet again. “We are now working our [expletive] off, but I don’t want to announce a new set of dates until I know everything will definitely be ready. The sooner I can announce the better, but I just can’t in case we are not ready in time.”
