Fans of the Today Show can rest assured that Al Roker is back! The beloved weathercaster, 67, returned to our screens last week after taking some time off for a Puerto Rican vacation. Like his many fans, his co-anchors Savannah Guthrie, 50 and Hoda Kotb, 57, were overjoyed to see him, and also to reunite altogether.
In the Monday broadcast, Guthrie acknowledged Roker’s presence with a big smile, and also pointed out that it had been a little while since viewers could see the iconic trio (with Kotb of course) together on-screen. “Hoda, you are a sight for sore eyes,” she said to her co-host (who previously went away to The Netherlands for a segment with Prince Harry). Guthrie then gestured fans to look over at Roker, who was in the corner preparing to discuss the weather. “We’ve got Al over there,” she said as Kotb added, “Al, it’s good to see you.” Roker smiled, waved to everyone watching at home and looked happy to get back into his routine and presenting his passion.
After sharing breaking news stories, the team then pointed towards Roker and the weather, as Guthrie sweely gushed,”Al! We’re so happy to have you back!” Kotb then said with a big smile, “Look at Al!” as he returned the same energy by replying “Look at you!” before getting back to his weather report.
While everyone was ready to give a warm welcome to Roker, his awaited return came at a very poignant time for another Today team member, Sheinelle Jones, who shared that she lost her grandfather at 98. Roker, Kotb and Guthrie all helped Jones honor her loved one and his incredible contributions to his community as an esteemed doctor.

“Tell your mom we love her,” Roker said to comfort Jones and her family as the other anchors all once again proved what we love most about the show— their undying collective commitment to focusing on what is important and supporting each other along the way.
