Alec Baldwin Slammed For Launching A Reality Show About His Family Amid Manslaughter Charges: ‘Sickening’
June 6, 2024 by Reanna Haase
TLC just announced that they are bringing us an inside look into Hilaria and Alec Baldwin’s family of nine, one month before the actor stands on trial for involvement in the death on the set of Rust in 2021.
Alec, 66, took to Instagram on June 4th with Hilaria, 40, to announce The Baldwins and “invite” us into their home “to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy.”
Fans are now saying that the channel’s decision to “promote” the show while Alec is awaiting the trial was made in “poor taste” and are claiming that “legal fees must suck” because he has “always hated paparazzi.”
In October 2021, the three-time Emmy winner was holding a prop gun on the set of Rust when a live shot was discharged, fatally wounding cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins, and injuring director, Joel Souza. He was later indicted in January 2023 for involuntary manslaughter, before the charges were dropped in April of 2023.
Then the New Mexico grand jury indicted the actor again on the same charges, in January 2024. The actor is now set to stand before the jury in July and if found guilty, he could face up to 18 months in prison.
Since the incident on set, the Rust star and producer has maintained that he did not pull the trigger on the gun, which should not have contained a live round.
