And the model just reminded us of her stunning figure when she took to Instagram to share a photo of herself posing in a gorgeous lavender minidress by Balmain. Its simple silhouette gets an upgrade, courtesy of some chic buttons and pockets – and we think it’s the perfect piece to rock in either late summer or early fall!

Of course, Alessandra looks so stunning in the dress, it begs the question – how exactly does the model stay in such good shape (especially at 39 years old)?

The former Victoria's Secret angel famously "hates cardio," so it makes sense that she takes a unique approach to her fitness. When she was younger, she never worked out at the gym, instead preferring to go out with her friends and dance.
Honestly, same!
But as she's gotten older and her metabolism has slowed, she goes hiking and plays volleyball on the beach.
After a friend encouraged her to try Tracy Anderson, Alessandra started working out once a day at her studio and enjoying a mixture of dance-cardio that feels like a throwback to her younger years. She's learned that the key to staying fit is mixing things up with restorative exercise, like yoga, plus heart-pumping cardio and muscle-targeting workouts.
Of course, getting runway ready isn't just due to workouts - the model also makes smart eating choices. She sticks to avocado toast and eggs for breakfast, along with plenty of green juices, salads, chicken, fish and sushi throughout the day.
In an interview with My Domaine, she shared that she "always has some nuts, usually almonds" in her purse.
And in good news for the rest of the us, Alessandra doesn't believe in dieting! She simply treats herself to a couple pieces of dark chocolate or cupcakes every week.
Noted. Looks like it's working for her, given how good she looks in that lavender dress!
