After the past weekend, rumors began swirling online that ex-Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod), 46, was dating nutrition expert, Kathryne Padgett, 25, who he was seen with at the January 22nd NFC Divisional Playoff Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
The NFL tweeted a video of Rodriguez sitting with Padgett watching the game at the Green Bay stadium. The caption reads, “A-Rod watching A-Rod,” referring to Rodriguez watching Aaron Rodgers play.
Rodriguez shared a video of him and Nick Silva, his friend and former White Sox baseball player, cheering on the Green Bay Packers at the game to his Instagram, but his rumored new girlfriend was notably not seen in it.

According to the New York Post, an “insider source” close to Rodriguez told the publication that he is single, and not dating the mystery woman he watched the game with. “A-Rod is single and enjoying life,” the source said.“It’s not like she’s his girlfriend. They went to Green Bay and then to Minnesota. She’s not his girlfriend. He is a single dude.”
The woman in question, Padgett, is a future registered dietician, and a former collegiate soccer player, according to her Instagram account. A-Rod and Padgett both follow each other, and she is also a competitive bodybuilder who hails from Dallas, as seen in her bio.

While Padgett may or may not be dating Rodriguez, she is possibly the third (and youngest) woman in the past year to catch his eye. Since splitting with Jennifer Lopez in April of 2021, A-Rod has been seen with NFL sideline reporter Melanie Collins, 35, and 31-year-old Southern Charm reality star Madison LeCroy, although he never confirmed an official relationship with either of them.
Lopez has moved on with her former partner Ben Affleck, and the two are still going strong. Rodriguez and Lopez still follow each other on social media, and we hope that the duo formerly known as “J-Rod” are still friendly!
