The 63-year-old Oscar-winner sashayed along the red carpet in a black, sheer, floor-length gown by Naeem Khan, which also happened to be covered in sequins, and also featured a high neck, long sleeves, and cutout criss-cross detailing along the arms. She finished the look off with some simple black heels, and styled her glossy bob into a sleek and straight down do with her bangs swept neatly to the side and tucked behind her ears. Makeup wise, Allison went for a bold black and silver smoky eye to complement the wow factor of the dress, which we think was the perfect choice!

The Frozen star, 42, also went down the sequins sartorial route – the festive season is almost upon us, after all – and looked gorgeous in a navy blue sequin Erdem dress which featured a lighter blue and bronze design. She kept her hair and makeup very simple to let the dress command all of the attention, and opted for some bold black platform heels to finish the look off.
