The event (which the barrister and style icon hosted with her husband George Clooney) celebrated activists who have dedicated their lives to justice and human rights.
The minimal frock design was complemented by a romantic train that flowed gracefully behind her as she made her way down the red carpet. The awards are named after Justice Albie Sachs, who played a crucial role in the fight against apartheid in South Africa. The star-studded ceremony was hosted on September 28th in the New York Public Library, located in the heart of New York City.

The lawyer wore her newly-dyed brunette tresses with highlights down, parted to the side and and styled into glamorous loose waves. As for her makeup look, Amal rocked classic black liner, silver eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a dark mauve lipstick.
George looked dapper in a crisp, timeless black-and-white suit with a bowtie as he posed with his wife and famous friends throughout the night.
