We can always count on Amal Clooney to bring truly chic, sophisticated, glamorous looks – and she didn’t disappoint when she was snapped heading to dinner with her husband George Clooney in Lake Como, Italy earlier this month.

The 45-year-old award-winning human rights lawyer looked exquisite in the pap pictures taken of her and her smartly-dressed husband at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como on Sunday, July 16th (you can check them out here) and the sexy yet romantic dress she wore turned heads for all the right reasons!

The mom-of-two’s white silk dress with a plunging front and back, as well as a daring slit at the front, was quite the fashion masterpiece, and hailed from the Christian Dior by John Galliano Spring/Summer 1999 collection. Galliano was clearly ahead of the game when it came to super-racy front slits, which the A-listers can’t seem to get enough of right now! We love how the celebs have been trawling the fashion archives for their red carpet, vacation, and date night looks; and we think Amal’s high-slit white dress might just be up there with our favorites!

Amal accessorized her white silk ruffled vintage dress, which was reportedly purchased from Tab Vintage, with a striking white and gold clutch bag and sky-scraping heels, while her long brunette hair was worn in an effortlessly glamorous wavy down do. Her makeup was flawless, as always, consisting of a defined eye and a timeless, soft red lip.
