Amal Clooney was spotted in New York City last week donning a thigh-skimming white minidress, a shimmering statement coat and chic, heeled black Mary Janes (giving us major end-of-winter style inspo!) The human rights lawyer and style icon, 45, added sheer tights and a black purse to complete her elegant and timelessly flattering ensemble.

Amal Clooney Dons White Minidress And Sparkly Statement Coat While On A Stroll In NYC
The mom of two wore her long, signature brunette tresses down during her outing, parting them to the side and styling them into loose waves. Her tresses also featured a lighter brown hue at the tips, as she sported an ombré look. Clooney also added black cat-eye sunglasses to match her other accessories.
Along with her high-neck and subtly sultry white minidress, she added a standout coat with glittery details. Our other favorite piece from her look had to be her shoe choice, as she went for shiny black Mary Janes with two buckles and a trendy pointed-toe design.

Amal Clooney Talks Style, Marriage To George Clooney And Life In The Spotlight
In an interview with Time last year, Mrs. Clooney spoke about the media attention that her stylish outfits garner, as well as her relationship with George Clooney (who she has been married to since 2014). “Marriage has been wonderful,” she said, addressing her relationship with the Oscar winner, 61, first.
“I have in my husband a partner who is incredibly inspirational and supportive, and we have a home filled with love and laughter. It is a joy beyond anything I could ever have imagined. I feel so lucky to have found a great love in my life, and to be a mother [to their five-year-old twins Ella and Alexander]—this is how I get my balance.”

“In terms of an increased public profile, I think all I can do is try to turn the spotlight to what is important,” she continued. “That can definitely benefit some clients. If I am at a work function and reporting of it focuses on irrelevant issues, there’s not much I can do about that.”
She added, “Since I can’t control it, my approach is just not to dwell on it and just get on with my work and my life and hope that attitudes will catch up. And I do actually feel like there is a female solidarity that has built up on these issues where other women will sort of call that out in a way that maybe wouldn’t have happened five or 10 years ago. So attitudes are changing.”
