The award-winning human rights lawyer spoke at the event to advocate for women’s rights. Amal Clooney Shimmers In A One-Shoulder Feather-Trim Dress
Amal, who is married to actor George Clooney, stunned in a sequined silver dress from Julie de Libran’s Fall/Winter 2022 Couture collection. The gown featured a one-shoulder neckline, embellished sequins, and a furline trim. Amal often wears polished and chic ensembles that focus on neutral tones, like the cream-colored Stella McCartney ribbed sweater dress she was spotted wearing in NYC.
She accessorized with a pair of dazzling dangling earrings and a diamond bracelet. To add to the glam, the lawyers’ enchanting cappuccino hair was styled into voluminous beachy waves. As for makeup, Amal had sky-high lashes, shimmering eyeshadow, rosy blush, and a light pink lip.
Amal spoke about women’s rights at the event. “Throughout my career as a lawyer, I have sought to advance women’s rights,” she said. “It seems pretty obvious that this is a worthy area of focus. Whether you believe in human rights or just prosperity, it is a good idea to try to unshackle half of the population of the world.”
Amal, who’s the co-founder and co-president of the Clooney Foundation for Justice, continued, “The latest data actually shows that women’s economic parity would add $12 trillion to the global economy—yet the percentage of philanthropic grants that go to women’s empowerment is in the single digits.
