Celebs had a lot of making up to do on this year’s American Music Awards red carpet, as last year’s event understandably looked a little different to what we’re used to seeing. The 2021 AMAs red carpet might have just been the sexiest one in history, as the majority of the A-listers left very little to the imagination, and flashed more flesh than ever at the Sunday, November 21st event. There was no shortage of sheer panels, daring high slits, and more cut-out detailing than you can shake a stick at – and we’re not mad about any of it!
Cardi B hosted the highly-anticipated event, and led by example with several super risqué and attention-grabbing looks on the red carpet as well as on the AMAs stage. We wouldn’t expect anything less! Let’s take a look at some of our favorite – and by that, we mean the sexiest and raciest – looks from last night’s awards ceremony. Be warned, some of these images definitely fall into the NSFW category!
Cardi B
The AMAs host didn’t make it easy for us to choose just one look, as each and every one of her various outfits were sexy and attention-grabbing in their own right. But if we absolutely had to choose, the draped white crystal-embellished dress by London designer Miss Sohee that she ended the night in – which came complete with a very daring, thigh-grazing slit – may have just grabbed the top spot. The 29-year-old “WAP” rapper clearly loved a headpiece last night, and once again added an OTT accessory to her head for her final show-stopping look. We’re obsessed with the crystal embellished hood! It’s very fitting that she’s clutching her award for ‘Favorite Hip-Hop Song’ which she won for “Up,” as we deem this look to be award-winning too!

Olivia Rodrigo
The 18-year-old “Déjà vu” singer gave us everything on last night’s AMAs red carpet – and for that, we couldn’t be more thankful! Olivia came out in the color of the moment (i.e., purple) by way of a custom David Koma dress that featured feather embellishments, sequins, and a daring super-plunging halter neckline. Oh, and did we mention that it was completely sheer and her underwear was very noticeably on display? This is definitely one of the ‘New Artist Of The Year’ winner’s hottest red carpet looks of 2021 – and that’s saying something!

Halle Bailey
All we can say is, wow! The 21-year-old Little Mermaid leading lady made jaws drop with her red carpet appearance last night, strutting her stuff in a chocolate brown LaQuan Smith velvet long-sleeved dress that had the most provocative crisscross cut-out detailing we’ve ever seen. And if the cut-out detailing that went all the way down to her navel wasn’t enough, it also featured an underwear-high slit that exposed both of her front legs. We’ve never seen anything like it!

Chlöe Bailey
Not one to be outdone by her younger sister, Chlöe Bailey also gave us one of the most daring red carpet looks of the entire year courtesy of an asymmetric one shouldered black dress (if you want to call it that!) that featured cut-outs on every possible location from the top to the side, and featured an impossibly high slit that barely covered anything. We would say that we don’t know how the 23-year-old singer didn’t flash her underwear, but we don’t think underwear was an option for a dress like that.

The 30-year-old “Leave (Get Out)” singer turned heads on last night’s red carpet in her blinding sparkly figure-hugging floor-length Usama Ishtay number that consisted of a bustier halterneck top, and flesh-flashing cut-outs in the middle. She finished her look off with a sleek high pony and on-trend bronze eye makeup.

Perhaps one of the more tasteful skin-exposing looks on last night’s AMAs red carpet is this stunning Carolina Herrera offering which the 20-year-old West Side Story actress wore. The monochrome dress gave off modern day princess vibes, and the cut-out detailing at the front was the perfect level of daring for the fairy-tale inspired look. We now have less than a month left to wait to see her star as Maria in the Steven Spielberg West Side Story adaptation (it’s out on December 10th, FYI) and we are beyond excited!

We can always rely on the 27-year-old model to bring her sartorial A-game to any red carpet, and we weren’t disappointed with her highly-anticipated AMAs look. Winnie made jaws drop with her super-seductive Zuhair Murad mini dress that featured dangling teardrop embellishments throughout. It flashed so much flesh, we don’t know where to look! But we also can’t look away! She looked sensational!

Fresh from performing at the Latin Grammys on Thursday, November 18th with the one and only Christina Aguilera, Becky G took to the AMAs red carpet in a racy purple mini dress by Raisa Vanessa with powerful shoulders and geometric cut-outs throughout. It was the perfect outfit for her big night, as she walked away with the award for ‘Favorite Latin Female Artist’ – congrats, girl!
