Amazon is definitely making up for lost time with this year's Prime Day. The sale event is usually held in July, but was delayed this year in consideration of coronavirus. However, now that we finally have a makeup date, it's time to prepare for ways to get the most of Prime Day deals.
First, to take advantage of Prime Day, you need an Amazon Prime account. So if you do not have one yet, now's the time to make the switch.
Some other tips include keeping an eye out for Amazon's deal page which lists the website's sale items. Since many of the most popular Prime Day deals tend to sell out early, keeping tabs on this page is a good way to make sure you aren't missing out.
Plus, Amazon added another feature to their app to make it easier to spot Prime Day deals.
Before Prime Day, log into the Amazon app and go through your Amazon wishlist, selecting the "Watch this deal" button to be notified when your favorite items are discounted.
Don't want to wait to start shopping? Amazon has already put one popular tech item on sale: the Echo Dot. Right now, you can get two of these speakers for less than $40 with the code DOTPRIME2PK.
