Amy Schumer is the latest celeb to visit the cosmetic surgeon – although unlike Megan Fox, who was spotted leaving the Diamond Face Institute last month with a noticeably plumper pout, the Trainwreck comedian is actually going in the opposite direction, and is having a procedure reversed!
The 40-year-old mom-of-one was once again, very open with her fans on social media, telling them that she was keen to have her cheek fillers dissolved as she didn’t like the way they made her face look. And of course, being the hilarious comedienne she is, did so in a very light-hearted and fun way, even joking that the initial fillers made her look like Disney villain Maleficent. Alongside a picture of herself in dermatologist Dr. LoGerfo’s room, with numbing cream on her cheeks, the I Feel Pretty star wrote: “I tried getting fillers. Turns out I was already full. Thank God you can dissolve them I looked like #malificent thanks @drjlodnp”

LoGerfo also shared the same image to her own social media account on December 26th, alongside some other helpful information about the initial cheek fillers procedure, and what people can expect from having them dissolved if they too choose to go down the same route as Amy.
“Using dermal filler can be a wonderful way to replace lost volume and enhance the face, but filler placement is extremely important!” the medical and cosmetic dermatologist told her 6,000 plus Instagram followers. “@amyschumer came to me after having filler elsewhere and we decided that where the filler was placed, was not ideal, so we dissolved it! Dissolving filler is a very simple and quick treatment. I injected hyaluronidase (an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid) to dissolve it!” We had no idea it was that simple!
In the comments section, many of LoGerfo's followers asked questions about the cheek filler procedure, and she shared some very helpful tips and general advice. One user asked, "Where should the filler be placed?" to which LoGerfo replied, "If you have full cheeks, injecting filler around the hairline or temples can lift without adding much volume to the cheeks themselves."

Also, I love Amy Schumer," while others said they loved Amy's transparency about the procedure, writing, "I love how open she is. Great work @drjlodnp," followed by a clapping hands emoji.
