Ana de Armas was a vision at the Hollywood red carpet premiere of Blonde in a shimmering, sultry and illuminating gown! The Knives Out actress, 34, donned a floor-length Louis Vuitton dress that was adorned in glistening sequins and featured a halter, plunging neckline and curve-hugging fit.

The No Time To Die star’s garment also helped show off her toned figure with an open-back cut-out, waist-defining detailing, and an elegant train that followed her as she graced the legendary TCL Chinese Theater red carpet. de Armas wore her long brunette tresses down for the event, styled straight, parted in the middle, and featuring ombre highlights.

As for her makeup look, the stunner went for a classic, black, cat-eye eyeliner wing (paying homage to Marilyn Monroe, who she plays in Blonde), rosy, warm blush and radiant highlighter along her cheekbones, and a glossy pink lip color. To top it all off, the Blade Runner 2049 alum accessorized with sparkling diamond stud earrings, a silver mid-ear cuff piece, and layered bangle bracelets.

As fans have to wait to see Blonde until it globally hits Netflix on September 28th, de Armas is already garnering rave reviews for her portrayal of a fictionalized version of Monroe, a role that she deemed “changed” her life.  The movie was filmed over nine weeks in 2019, and its release was notably delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The historical psychological drama that captures the essence of Norma Jeane Mortenson (Monroe’s birth name and pre-fame identity) inspired a 14-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival last week, with de Armas looking noticeably moved and emotional. Blonde also stars Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Xavier Samuel and Julianne Nicholson.

de Armas described the film’s premise to Elle as a layered look at not only Monroe’s life post-fame, but also her identity off-screen. When discussing her experiences shooting the film and developing her character, she explained, “Fame is what made Marilyn the most visible person in the world, but it also made Norma the most invisible.”
