Angelina Jolie made her first public appearance at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, August 11th, following her son Pax‘s traumatic e-bike accident on July 29th. The Academy Award-winning actress, 49 (who shares Pax, 20, and five other children with her ex husband Brad Pitt) was photographed by paparazzi wearing a sophisticated all-black ensemble, featuring a long dress and an elegant overcoat, according to images published by The Daily Mail.
Pax, as the outlet reported, had been discharged from the ICU earlier this month. The Girl, Interrupted star was said to be “‘shocked and worried” according to insiders after learning that her son (who is estranged from his Bullet Train actor father, 60) had collided with the rear of a stationary vehicle at an intersection along Los Feliz Boulevard.

Jolie is said to be aiding Pax in his recovery, whereas Pitt has been left 'heartbroken' by his exclusion from the matter. At the airport, the Eternals star exuded glamour with her oversized black sunglasses, designer tote, and striking ruby red manicure. Her blonde-highlighted hair cascaded down in brushed-out waves, parted perfectly in the center.
The Maleficent actress completed her sophisticated ensemble with espadrille sandals featuring block heels and elegant brown straps. In the aftermath of the crash, her son continues to recuperate, a source revealed to People last week. The report noted that he is currently experiencing discomfort and will require additional treatments in the future. Pax seemingly struck his head upon impact with the vehicle, and he had neglected to wear a helmet.
The insider stressed that he was "very lucky" to not be facing graver injuries. "It could have been much worse [because] he didn't wear a helmet," the tipster noted. Pax experienced the medical crisis while still estranged from his father, Pitt.
A source revealed exclusively to The Daily Mail that the Fight Club alum has been deeply troubled by the complete lack of communication from his family about Pax's health situation. (We're keeping our eyes peeled for more info).
