The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress flew to New York with her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne to attend the Tony Awards at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in New York City on Sunday, June 16th. Their Tonys attendance was to support Jolie’s Broadway musical The Outsiders, which won four awards on the big night!

When departing JFK, the Eternals actress was papped wearing a somewhat unexpected outfit given the Big Apple temperatures. She wrapped up in a timeless light-colored trench coat, and accessorized with black knee-high heeled suede boots and an on-trend raffia Saint Laurent tote with statement YSL hardware on the front.

The Vogue Japan cover star‘s lighter locks were worn in an effortless loose updo, and she completed her outfit with her signature black shades. For her part, Vivienne kept things casual in a pair of light blue jeans and a navy blue zip-up hoodie, and finished off with a pair of Converse sneakers and a black backpack.
