Angelina Jolie stunned fans and onlookers at the New York Film Festival this week in a pleated, romantic and ethereal white gown. The Oscar winner and style icon, 49, illuminated the red carpet at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall as she graced the event to promote her long-awaited Maria Callas biopic, Maria.
Jolie attended the festival with three of her six kids (whom she shares with ex Brad Pitt). These included Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, and Maddox, 23.
Jolie’s breathtaking Madame Grès dress was sourced from Mon Vintage in Paris. To complete her chic get-up, the Eternals actress added open-toe Aquazzura heels and shimmering jewelry from Cartier.

As for her glam, the Girl, Interrupted alum wore her dirty blonde tresses down, parted to the side and styled into elegant, Old Hollywood-esque waves. For her makeup look, the Atelier Jolie founder opted for black liner, smokey eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, ample rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a classic ruby red lipstick.
Jolie's latest project, Maria, continues to garner critical acclaim. In it, she stars as late legendary opera singer Maria Callas, with the plot set during her final years in the 1970s. The biographical drama was directed by Pablo Larraín (who was also behind the camera for 2019's Princess Diana biopic, Spencer, and the 2016 Jacqueline Kennedy-inspired film, Jackie).
The buzzing forthcoming movie will be released in select theaters in the US on November 27th. Starting December 11th, it will be ready to stream via Netflix. In anticipation of Maria, Jolie disclosed at a press conference last month that she dedicated several months to honing her singing abilities. The Lara Croft star also received invaluable support from her sons, who helped ease her anxiety.
“I was terribly nervous; I spent almost seven months training,” Jolie said in August, as reported by People. “My first time singing, I remember being so nervous. My sons were there and they helped to block the door [so] that nobody else was coming in, and I was shaky.”
As noted on the official site for the New York Film Festival, Maria is "set in Paris, September 1977, during the final week of [Maria Callas'] life" and follows the "legendary soprano as she negotiates her public image and private self and reckons with the increasingly blurred boundaries between the venerated ‘La Divina’ and the vulnerable human being Maria."
Overall, we're marking our calendars for December 11th and keeping our eyes peeled for more glamorous outfits from Jolie as she promotes Maria!
