Angelina Jolie And Akala Reportedly 'Did Not Leave' Her London Hotel For Two Nights
"Angelina and Akala have been secretly spending nights together at her London hotel The Corinthia," an insider reportedly told The Sun earlier this week.
"Angelina arrived at the hotel via the loading bay at around 8pm on Wednesday before being joined by Akala at around 10pm," the source continued, adding: "The pair spent Wednesday and Thursday night together inside the hotel and did not leave."
Although the source claimed that their romance is allegedly "the real deal," they are currently still "using separate cars and secret entrances to keep their relationship under wraps."
Akala Has Reportedly Introduced Angelina Jolie To His Friends And Family
While the pair have yet to make their red carpet debut, things are reportedly getting more serious as the days go on, with other sources telling the Daily Mail that Akala, real name Kingsley James McLean Daley, has now introduced the Maleficent actress to his friends and family, including older sister Ms. Dynamite.
The source went on to say that the mom-of-six and the "Carried Away" musician have bonded over a "shared love of history and his fountain of knowledge," and Akala has reportedly been "educating Angelina on Britain's colonial past and the country's prominent Black figures."
"Akala has been teaching Angelina Jolie a lot about Black British history as she looks for new source material for films," the insider continued, adding: "He introduced her to the Kelso Cochrane story. She is a keen historian so there have been a lot of conversations about Olive Morris and Kelso."
Some Insiders Insist Angelina Jolie And Akala Are Not Dating
Despite all of this, there are still some sources that are insisting that the CR Fashion Book cover star and Akala are *not* dating, with many of them claiming that he is in fact dating his business partner, Chanelle Newman. As is common with celebrity relationships in the early stages, the reports of them not dating could very well be a coverup to try and throw the media off; or it could in fact be the truth. But there is currently no way of knowing for sure!
According to People, an insider claimed that the Atelier Jolie founder is simply "close friends with Akala and his partner," and insisted that Akala's partner "has also been at every event" the Maria actress and Akala have attended. The source added: "They all work together. Angelina remains focused on her family and is not dating at this time."
